Message There are a couple of options for this.... the simplest, like you mentioned, is just getting the trim adjuster from Haltech. On my setup I didn't really see a need for anything like this. If I want less boost I will just use less right foot :)

I have a blitz boost controller in my Z and I never adjust it. But maybe that's just me.

Now when you talk about actually switching maps that is a different story. There are two really cool options with the Haltech (and maybe more)

1) Plumb a flex fuel sensor into your return line. When you switch fuels, the Haltech seamlessly switches maps. If your tank is half E85 and half 93 it will pick a 50/50 point (assuming your tuner has set it up properly).

2) A/B toggle switch. You can mount a rocker switch or similar somewhere in the cabin and punch into on of the DPI's on the Haltech and when its in position A = Tune X and when the switch is in position B = Tune Y. This would be a better setup for race fuel / methanol injection IMO.

Regarding the use of two solenoids I don't really see the point in it on a 300zx. With the conventional boost solenoid routing on a Z managing 30+ psi doesn't seem to be an issue, so why complicate the system?
